Silks 2 Gems (Formally Silks & Such) had its origins in Traci Thompson's keen sense of color and style coordination ability coupled with a flair for silk floral designs. Traci attributes her creative gift to her mother whose home was featured in Country Women's Christmas book 2005. Traci's business started by a simple request to make Thanksgiving arrangements for a company function and has flourished into a successful business. Traci specializes in Seasonal designs including Fall wreathes, Pumpkin arrangements, Halloween Décor, Thanksgiving cornucopias and Christmas and New Years Eve wreathes, table settings and arrangements. She also does weddings and other custom designs upon requests.

Her work has been shown in Festivals throughout Alabama and Georgia and graces lobbies in The Hilton Hotel in Birmingham, Al, HealthSouth Corporate offices in Birmingham Al, .and in many fines homes from gracious estates in Savannah, Ga. to rustic mountain retreats in the North Georgia foothills of the Blue Ridge area. We ship nationwide and have covered 12 states and Canada. Her custom work has been the focal point of weddings , parties and many celebrations.

Traci's custom work also appears In Seasonal Festivals throughout the greater metro Atlanta area starting with the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain in mid September 2007 and ending with The Christmas on the River in Savannah in December. In 2005 a broad assortment of handmade and costume jewelry joined our product lines. With the launch of our website in summer 2007 , we expect to serve more customers nationwide providing spectacular silk floral designs and sparkling jewelry items for every occasion.
